In partnership with many local colleges and universities, our Child Life Program has an exciting internship program that allows students to have a hands-on experience in a real hospital setting. College students, who are usually majoring in Childhood Development, have the opportunity to “shadow” Certified child life specialists and see the day-to-day work. Students also learn about important educational pieces such as preparing children for hospitalization and learning about medical play.
To apply for a 600-hour internship offered through our Child Life Program, fill out the Child Life Internship Application.
