We depend on the generosity of our friends in the community as we strive to provide our patients and families with comforting and engaging items, such as toys, books, stuffed animals, games and craft materials. These resources are used throughout the year in our numerous playrooms and patient rooms, as well as to reward children for completing a procedure or to celebrate a birthday, holiday, or special event. Monetary donations, gift cards, and donations of our regularly used items are truly appreciated.

  • We encourage you to use our online wish list to have our most needed items sent directly to us. This is the safest option for our patients and staff. 
  • To provide a monetary donation, you can give online and select the Cherese Mari Laulhere Child Life Program from the menu. You can also make a check payable to Memorial Medical Center Foundation (MMCF)/Child Life and mail it to MMCF, 2801 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, CA 90806
