Use the Inverted Pyramid Method

Speak to the more general, important information first and drill down to the less important details further down the page. It’s important that your broad audience is able to understand your key message by just looking at the very top of the page and can scroll through for more specifics if they feel that message is relevant to them.

Make Text Scannable

Instead of using paragraphs with a bunch of text, use ordered and unordered lists, tables, accordions and small paragraphs with appropriate headers. This allows users to scan the page and understand the key message or easily find the content on the page that they care most about.

Use Headers Appropriately

Within an RTE you’ll be able to format text using certain header styling (H1, H2, etc.). This styling is not only important in telling search engines what the priority and categorization is of content, but also allows our users to better understand the priority and structure of content.
