About Me
A native Californian, Dr. Appleby was born in Mountain View, a community near Palo Alto and the Stanford area. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Santa Clara University, he attended Medical School at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Returning to California, Dr. Appleby completed his Internship and Residency training in Internal Medicine at UCI Medical Center in Orange, through the University of California Irvine. He then went on to complete a three year Fellowship in Cardiology and an additional year Fellowship specializing in Interventional Cardiology also at UCIMC.
Dr. Appleby has been on staff at Long Beach Memorial since 2010 and he is the co-author of numerous articles on cardiac-related conditions.
