About Me
Dr. Randy Wei is a board-certified radiation oncologist with Memorial Radiology Oncology Medical Group in Orange County.
He earned a joint medical degree and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and served as chief resident for the final two years of his residency program.
He continues research in the areas of cancer biology and worked with Dr. Wen-Hwa Lee who cloned the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor gene and did pioneering research on the mechanism of tumor suppressors in cancers. Dr. Wei has been published in more than 21 peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented at the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meetings.
Dr. Wei is an active member of ASTRO, the Los Angeles Radiological Society, American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) and the American Brachytherapy Society. In addition, he volunteers on the Medical Advisory Board for Make-A-Wish Orange County and Imperial Empire chapter.
