About Me
Dr. Nikhil Kapoor is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist who specializes in evaluating and treating coronary artery and structural heart diseases with the Cardiovascular Innovation & Research Center in Long Beach, CA.
His clinical interests include preventing and treating valve disease using minimally invasive approaches for diagnosis and treatment (coronary angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, TAVR, MitraClip™).
He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College Manipal followed by residency in internal medicine from Loma Linda University. He then completed two fellowships; the first in cardiovascular disease at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the later in interventional cardiology at Los Angeles County-Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kapoor is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
