About Me
Jay M. Jazayeri, M.D. is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and completed a joint replacement fellowship under the directorship of Professor Sir John Charnley in England, who pioneered joint replacement surgery. Dr. Jazayeri is a member of the MemorialCare Joint Replacement Center at Long Beach Medical Center and provides consults at his practice in Long Beach.
He graduated from the University of Tehran School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital of Cleveland and Mount Sinai Hospital of New York. He completed his orthopedic residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Jazayeri is proficient and experienced in total hip, total and partial knee, anatomical and reverse shoulder replacement surgery, including robotic-assisted, navigation guided as well as complex revision surgeries.
Dr Jazayeri's motto for his patients is "Restore your mobility, reclaim your life."
