Hiren Y Patel, DO

Dr. Hiren Patel is a Urogynecologist specializing in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Sociology at Villanova University in Villanova, and then obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Patel completed his residency at Christiana Care Health Systems and his fellowship in Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Long Beach Medical Center.

As a resident, Dr. Patel took great satisfaction in teaching medical students and was honored with the Berlex Teaching Award in 2005 as outstanding second year teaching resident and Resident as a Teacher Award in 2005-2006 presented by the Ortho Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Patel is a four time recipient of the Golden Apple Resident Teaching Award given by the Jefferson Medical College Students in Philadelphia.
