About Me
Henry Su, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified infectious disease specialist with expertise in HIV primary care and the management of a broad range of infectious diseases in the Long Beach area.
His clinical interests include rapid molecular diagnostics (RMD) strategies in antimicrobial stewardship programs (ASPs) to combat antibiotic resistance and improve patient outcomes.
He earned his medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine followed by an internship & residency in internal medicine at UC Davis Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in infectious disease at the UCLA Multi-Campus/ Cedars-Sinai program in Los Angeles. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and infectious disease.
Outside of work, Dr. Su enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family -- whether it is hiking in the mountains nearby or spending time at the beach together. He's also an avid reader of crime and science fiction novels.
