About Me
Carol is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Orthopedic Center at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital and is a part of the Tichenor Lowman Miller Medical Group. She treats all general pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Carol received her BSN from Azusa Pacific University, her MSN/FNP-C from UCLA and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the Southern California State University Consortium (CSULB, CSULA, CSUF). Carol is an Assistant Adjunct Professor teaching full-time in the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs at UCLA. She has presented locally and internationally her findings on the use of Virtual Reality to decrease the anxiety of pediatric patients in the outpatient setting during cast and pin removal procedures.
