About Me
Dr. Brian Modena is a board-certified, fellowship trained allergy & immunology specialist with Modena Allergy & Asthma in Torrance.
His clinical interests include allergies (drug, environmental, and food) asthma, AERD, urticaria, dermatitis, and immune system disorders.
He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and residency in internal medicine at Scripps Green Clinic. He then completed a fellowship in allergy & immunology at Children’s Hospital Pittsburgh with the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in allergy & immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Modena’s research experience and interests include artificial intelligence/machine learning, mRNA gene expression, genetics, the microbiome, and IoT devices to provide individualized and highly focused medical treatment.
He spends his free time exercising (hiking, running, skiing), attending summer concerts, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog. Dr. Modena is presently taking new pediatric and adult patients.
