About Me
Arnold Rappoport, MD, is the Interim Medical Director of the MemorialCare Imaging Center at Long Beach Memorial and Miller Children's and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Rappoport is a native of South Africa who earned his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, then completed specialty training in radiology at Westminster and St. Thomas Hospitals in London.
After moving to the United States in 1973, Dr. Rappoport served as an instructor in radiology at Harvard Medical School. In addition to his certification from the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Rappoport has a Diploma in Medical Radio Diagnosis from the Royal College of Surgeons and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists.
He is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology, the Western Angiographic Society and the Radiological Society of North America.
