The Stramski Children’s Development Center at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and Long Beach Airport invite your child and one adult guest to participate in an airport “rehearsal” to prepare for a real airport travel experience.
This exciting event is intended to relieve travel stress for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. At the event, your child will experience:
- Checking in at the airport and passing through a TSA security checkpoint.
- Waiting in the terminal while watching and listening to airplanes land and takeoff.
- Going outside and getting up close to a real airplane.
- Fun goodies and snacks.
