More than 100 enthusiastic supporters and donors gathered at the Virginia Country Club for a day of camaraderie, competition, and giving back at the 15th Annual Champion’s Club Classic Golf Tournament, benefiting Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, donors, and participants, the 2025 Champion’s Club Classic raised an impressive $281,000 in support of Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital’s greatest area of need. This year’s tournament included a special fund-a-need moment during the evening festivities, calling attention to the urgent need for new sleeper chairs for families staying on the pediatric care units— helping to make overnight stays more comfortable and supportive for loved ones.
“These new sleeper chairs will significantly enhance the comfort and well-being of families staying overnight,” Heather Ulangca, RN, director, Clinical Operations—Pediatric Acute Care Services, Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital. “By providing a more supportive and restful environment, we can help families be there for their loved ones during critical moments.”
Following the day on the green, guests were treated to a banquet-style dinner and a lively live auction. The evening featured exclusive sports memorabilia, luxury hospitality packages, and one-of-a-kind custom experiences, all of which helped bolster the tournament’s fundraising success.
