Whether your child’s visit to Miller Children’s is planned or the result of a sudden urgent need, having your child admitted to the hospital can be difficult and Miller Children’s wants parents to be as prepared as possible for a child’s hospitalization. The Parent Advisory Board, made up of parents whose children have been hospitalized or have chronic illnesses, has compiled tip sheets and lists to help parents prepare for their stay in the hospital, navigate through the hospitalization process and offer support during discharge planning.
